Growing Green: Tree Planting and Climate Action with Verite

Climate change hits vulnerable communities first and hardest — failed rains mean failed harvests, and failed harvests mean children out of school.

Verite's environmental programs respond directly: tree planting initiatives, soil and water conservation, biogas and solar promotion, energy-saving cookstoves, and water harvesting and dam construction.

Every tree planted is a small act of protection for the families we serve — and a lesson in stewardship for the young people who plant them.
